Electrical defects on components are not the only issue that manufacturing companies can face. Mechanical issues can have an impact on manufaturing and specifically soldering performance, these are issues such as:

• Co-planarity
• Pitch
• Bent Terminations

We have in-house capability to inspect these devices with full reporting to show the actual readings – similar inspection techniques to the auto placement machines. All of our electrically tested components are ran through the AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) systems as a matter of course to ensure that the parts are ready to use.
