Basic Unpowered Electrical Test

An unpowered electrical test is completed without adding any stimulus to the electrical component, effectively the component is not switched on. This will still detect most of the defects possible as outlined above. The unpowered electrical test is normally a relatively quick electrical test and is excellent for using a known good device for comparison functions.
